 Dearest Abril,
Abril was nearing her 17th year on the planet when her body gave up. Like ours, the body will stop thriving one day but our soul will live forever. She touched so many of my clients and friends. Being surrounded by the animal kingdom most of my life has made me believe their souls continues too. It’s been great to have such a special cat as my companion. Her intuitive qualities and healing abilities during the last years of her life were outstanding and wonderful to watch. Thanks Sabri’ I love you. I am more grateful than you'll ever know to have known her, been her friend and having the privelage of sharing her special moment of transition with her. My Favorite April I knew a little of her heart and humor. I had a lovely long evening walk with my dog Luther on Thanksgiving eve and I was unable to stop my mind from thinking and talking with April. I think she told me to send you a funny picture of this squirrel so you would laugh. I feel her joy and funny heart. April sends you love and laughter...and so do I... Ella |

I named you in Spanish (my favorite language/culture) for April since that was the month you were born. In a home of two cats and one dog my chances of getting my way with my father to keep you was slim. My friends’ cats had a liter of kittens and you were the only female of sets of twin tabbies. When I got home my father fell in love with you and said I could keep you. You were the only survivor in the liter and well the rest is history. What a long life of travels and adventures. As well as being my therapy companion on the houseboats for two years.
